November 1, 2026: Larry will once again join the Danbury Symphony Orchestra as Concertmaster when the DSO kicks off its 91st season with a program entitled: Distant Lands and Legends. The program features the exciting final movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by Lina Elwood, winner of the Danbury Music Centre’s 2026 Student Concerto Competition. Also, violin soloist Joana Genova will be featured in Vladigerov’s Bulgarian Rhapsody Vardar. The DSO will also perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, a colorful orchestral masterpiece inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted at the door.

My focus right now is putting high quality arrangements for string quartet and trio out there. These pieces are for string players who want more than just adequate parts to play. Let's give the second violin interesting counter melodies. Let's give the viola or the cello the tune once in a while. Let's fill in harmonies with manageable double stops when appropriate.
